Each year, Hearts of Gold kicks off the fall season with a fashion show gala, where dazzling models light up the runway in the season's most eye-catching designs from around the world. Our guests enjoy a cocktail reception, a live Grand Auction and Chinese Auctions as well. Last year, net proceeds generated from the auction, ticket sales and corporate donations exceeded $150,000.

Hearts of Gold fever is spreading fast! Corporate entities and the entertainment world have joined forces with us. Past Honorary Chairs include Kirsten Dunst, Susan Sarandon, Ivana Trump, Laura Linney, Vanessa L. Williams and Bobbi Brown. CNN Anchor Valerie Morris has hosted our event three times and our Goodwill Ambassador and CNN American Morning's Soledad O'Brien reprised her role as Mistress of Ceremonies for this year's event. Past events included tennis great Jim Courier who was on hand to auction off one of his raquets and a private lesson for our Grand Auction. Suzanne Vega and CD 101.9's Pat Prescott have picked the lucky door prize winners. Andre Agassi, Serena Williams, and Venus Williams furnished us with a fabulous autograghed racquet and tennis package. Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder have both signed CDs and posters. Robert DeNiro, Isaac Mizrahi, Ann Curry, Derek Jeter and The New York Yankees...the list goes on.

Our presence in the media, coupled with our expanding data-base, helps to raise the profile of Hearts of Gold and the funds required to fulfill our commitment to our families.
